Hi. My name is Andrea.

I am a Software Engineer with three years of professional experience using the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP/Javascript). I have professional exposure to Vue.js, Zend Framework, and Laravel. I have applied knowledge through my coursework and projects in Javascript, Python, JQuery, MySQL, Postgres, MySQL Alchemy, Flask, Express, React.js, and more.

In 2018 I received a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University with a minor in Business Administration. After three years as a corporate tax accountant, I decided that I was better suited for a career in the tech industry.

DCF Analyst

I created this site with the aim to create the ability to run a discounted cash flow analysis on the fly for public companies using historical financial data. It is written with Python, PostgresQL, and MySQLAlchemy.

Weather App

This dynamic and responsive weather application was developed using vanilla Javascript, HTML, and CSS. The user can search for the current weather in different cities across the globe with the use of the OpenWeather Api.

JournalFit

I created this demo website for a boutique fitness blog business. This website's interface was built from scratch using HTML | CSS | Bootstrap. The user has the ability to enter their biometric data in order to begin their journal for their fitness journey. This website also runs a blogging business to help its users on their fitness journey. Progress can be accessed by the users by logging in to their accounts.

Nucamp

I built this website for a demo camping site. On this website, a customer can purchase and reserve their stay at their chosen camping designation. They also have the capability of logging in to access their purchased goods. This website was built using Bootstrap and Jquery. I recreated the same UI with React and built an app version for Android devices using the Android SDK tool and React Native. Redux was used for state management.
